Relating and belonging
Think of all important communities, groups and systems you are part of. It can be a great way to learn about yourself and your values when you analyse the difference aspects of these groups and systems that you appreciate.
Here are some questions to brainstorm:
- Why do you feel connected to this community/group?
- What is the aspect and feeling that give you that gut experience?
- What makes you trust that gut instinct?
- What experiences in the past have taught you about this instinct?
- Think about the different groups that you feel connected with – what aspects do they have that you feel so connected to?
Other invisible aspects to explore:
- How do your instincts tell about the atmosphere and the mood in the group when you enter the room of people?
- How much does it affect your physical body?
- What kind of other sensations you could get?
- Are you paying attention that you might bring with you some patterns that you have in your another groups?
- How do you come to any group situation with a fresh, open and curious state of mind?
- Are there specific practices that give you the access to this kind of state of mind?
